Waiting for your fairy Godmother to change your life?

When I was younger, I would fantasize on winning the lottery to change my life.  Other times I would think how an employer (when I still worked in corporate America) would pluck me out of obscurity to become the big cheese at their company.  Disney made a small fortune with its movie on Cinderella and her fairy Godmother.  The number of people who paid to see the movie at the theater and buy the home copy tells me lots of people like the idea.

You know what?  Those life changing fantasies rarely materialize without help from you.

Don't wait for some small chance that fortune will just pick you. Be your own magic and start a business.

It doesn't matter that you make only a small amount of money in the beginning.  The important thing is you are opening yourself to the opportunity for "magic" to work for you.  The magic of course is developing a customer base that grows and multiplies.  In time you could be the "big cheese" and own a profitable business that's all your own.
