Sometimes an owner forgets to tout the very thing they should shout about.  One of the services we offer is payroll processing.

A business owner needs to understand whether or not the person they are paying should be considered a contractor or employee.

The IRS has a list of questions to aid in answering the question but there are still instances where it's hard for the business owner to determine the correct answer.  The problem is when you reach the wrong answer.  The penalties are fairly severe when you are obligated to report (and pay) on employees and you fail to comply properly.
