No Man Is An Island

It's funny how you can hear a phrase for years and suddenly you wonder where it came from.  No man is an island came from John Donne (1572-1631).

 The phrase is particularly important in business.  A business owner needs help getting the word out for customers.  He or she also needs support for their business.  If you remain by yourself then in time you risk lost sales and burning yourself out by trying to do too much by yourself.

Everyone wants something and I believe most people recognize the value in helping one another.  You help me and I help you.  Together we both can feed our families and grow our respective businesses.
