    • So, What are you really good at?

    I was reading an article about a fellow who started a business selling cupcakes upstate.  Cupcakes?  Yep, he left a job to start a business for himself.  He had learned how to cook from age 7.  People liked the way he made baked goods so cupcake baking was his answer to the self employment question of what should I open.
     
    I've toyed with the idea of opening a restaurant in the past because I like my own cooking over what is generally offered in restaurants.  Who knows?  Perhaps one day I'll open a restaurant in addition to my CPA practice.
     
    Maybe your sitting in front of your computer right now thinking "what could I do".  Look to what you're really good at and what you've received compliments for in the past.  Opportunity may be knocking and you're just not paying attention.
