  • How to make technology work for you

Review your routine tasks. Perhaps you have done something the same way for days, months or even years.  You know how long it's going to take.

How about stepping back from the task and looking at how technology may save you time?

When I first started my professional career, PC's hadn't filtered down to me yet. They were pricey to say the least.  In fact, my first PC cost me slightly under $3,000 (back in the 80's) and I had what was then a large hard drive (20 megabites).  In our office (I was once an employee), we had a pc that no one used.  I created the first budget for the company on that computer (formerly it was done by typing the numbers out on a sheet of paper).  Did it save us time?  You betcha!

Now, I periodically look at what's available in technology to make my work day more productive.

    Remember, time is money.

I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more.  We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.

One more thing,  I posted a request  (on Sunday's posting) to have you (my readers) respond to what type of things you would like me to cover on my blogs.  I will compile the results and share with you next week.  Please take a little time to help me make my blog more responsive to your needs.
