I had to travel to a nearby town yesterday to do some work for a client.  The drive there provided me a time for reflection of what I have to be thankful for.  I'm past the age where high speed is a thrill and I was more worried about maintaining a minimum speed without being ticketed for going too slow.

My buddy came into town for a golf tournament this weekend.  He is not a professional player but just loves the game.  I am happy to see him and of course I revert back to 13 years old when we hang out together.

Over Dinner at a local mexican restaurant, we laughed and shared our good fortunes and bad over to big a meal.  With age, I've been blessed with learning to appreciate my life.  It's not perfect but it's mine.
