    • Start a business. Please!

    In the papers, I read about looming teacher cuts due to budget shortfalls.  It is a shame for what is happening but it's not any different from what happens in corporate America.  
     
    The only solution I may perceive is to take control of your own destiny.  Is it better to wake up one day and find yourself out of a job due to a numbers issue or to launch a small business which you can grow slowly into a steady source of income?
     
    If you've read my blogs, you will find me encouraging people to start their own enterprise.  Sure it's scary but if you have a job (even a temporary one) then you could do it.  The alternative is to find yourself out of work alongside thousands of other people with similar skill sets and again you will find yourself in a numbers game in the unemployment ranks.
