Recent Posts:Changing your business with technologyHow long have I been in business. Well, I remember making the decision to sign up for annual beeper service many years ago. I figured I would be able to expand my reach to potential clients by offering my beeper number and then calling them back once I was near a phone.I had a beeper for a number of years before I (gulp) made the committment to move into a cell phone plan. Soon, the days of beepers for me were over and the years of cell phone usage had begun.
Yesterday my cell phone died on me. Though I took the phone into the corporate store for repair, they informed me yesterday evening that she is gone. I had my last phone for nearly ten years without incident but this one didn't even make it to the two year mark.
Now I'm left with a decision. Use my insurance plan to replace or upgrade the phone and enter into another two year commitment. If you know me, you know how often I use my cell phone. Its sleek design is light years better than the brick style phones used on the old tv show Dallas.
A cell phone is an indespensible tool for a small business service provider like me. Opportunity is calling and I need my phone if I'm going to answer.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
