    I've worked with a number of small business operators (I am one too you know), and one of the more common traits of our little group is thriftiness.
     
    I myself can be described as mechanically challenged but other small business operators have rolled up their sleeves to do quite a bit in their places of business from repairing equipment to performing build out work.
     
    Unlike large corporations with large amounts of capital, small business operators must be creative in how they achieve the same results.  From bartering to picking up a book and learning how to do it yourself, we business operators know to do all we can to preserve our capital in order to keep us "in the game" and weather the slow times which do occur in the economy.
