    • The importance of learning new skills

    I have been skimming over a rather thick book on Excel lately to enhance my technical skills.  Over the years, I look to job want ads to see what new skills are being sought.  By utilizing this method, I can stay near the cutting edge with my skills and the skills of my associates in order to compete in the market easier.
     
    With the way technology changes, you need an edge to render service or provide a product cheaper than your competitors.  It's not anything revolutionary but harnessing new ways of doing things just may prolong your career or business shelf life.
