Recent Posts:Self employed work on commissionPeople who work for others really don't fully understand the sensation of working for yourself. There are times I hear people say "You're so lucky being self employed". That may be true and I count my blessings that I am self employed and have remained so for some time. The part those people fail to realize is I work on commission.Make no mistake about it. Being self employed means you maintain certain overhead in the hopes that people will patronize your business. No sales mean no paycheck. That is a major difference from being an employee for someone. As an employee, you can count on a paycheck every payday. Not so with being your own boss.
Now don't get me wrong. It's great running your own place. It's just that you must hustle each work day to make sure the hopper is filled with customers who pay so you may meet the financial obligations for your own enterprise. It's exciting and scary at the same time.
