Recent Posts:Building a business on your own hard workYears ago, o.k. many, many years ago I had interviewed for a position with a company. The fit of my skills with the company's needs were seemingly perfect but perhaps personality won out as I wasn't asked to be part of the team. What does that story have to do with building a business on your own? Well, during the meeting the outside CPA mentioned his child would be marrying into a very well to do family with a trust fund established for bride (grand daughter of a very wealthy family). I remember thinking how life wasn't fair at the time with someone able to marry their way into wealth.
I didn't consider the marrying into wealth comes with strings attached. After all, the one with the money can wield their wealth like a sword over the one without.
Building a business of your own lets you have your own set of options which gives you independence. At the end, you can sell the business or transfer it to the next generation of family to run. Wouldn't that be cool?
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
