    • Don't wait until things get better. Be the catalyst

    Did you ever notice that a neighborhood will be seemingly without life and then someone takes a chance to develop a neighborhood through opening a new business or redeveloping houses?  When it's successful, nearby businesses benefit and it stimulates yet others to take a chance on opening additional places since there is a positive buzz created by one or perhaps just a few brave souls.
     
    By the time you hear about the buzz, rents will have increased because the area is now the place to be and you're going to have to pay a premium to locate there.
     
    The trick is to pick an area where there is traffic but people are afraid to take a chance and go for it.
     
    Keep in mind that big success doesn't go to the timid.  You must be bold.
