Recent Posts:How to get more salesBusiness owners (including myself) are interested in learning new and varied ways to achieve higher levels of sales. Sometimes it means spending more money overtly like in the newspaper, radio spots or mail outs. Those choices are what I like to call the shotgun approach. It has a wide reach to varied types of potential clients and people who may not be even remotely interested in what you have to offer. I think there is a place for the shotgun approach but I mostly prefer to use the laser approach. The laser approach requires a bit more effort. The reason why is you first need to identify your target audience. What??? Let me explain. Suppose you want to specialize in serving the needs of automobile mechanics. You first need to identify who they are and what's the best way to reach only them. Laser approach. It's honing in on just who you want to reach and not the masses at large. As a small business owner, I have used the shot gun approach and the laser approach for different marketing campaigns. With any approach, you need to be sure your message is clear and concise if you want to capture your share of the market. I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more.
