A secret of success? Preparation

Only a sliver of business owners I work with have fallen into business without any type of preparation.  The vast majority prepared for business success by acquiring tools and equipment before launching their business enterprise.  Some took years (like me) to slowly accumulate what they'd need to start while others cashed out life savings to immediately shoestring the launch of their operation.

Even today I prepare for the week.  Once a week, I stop off at my favorite fruit and vegetable store (Chicho Boys Fruit Market) in San Antonio to stock up on stuff to fill my office refrigerator.  I eat well (and more healthy) for much lower than take out prices and have counter top appliances at my office to cook whatever I plan to eat each work day.  My savings leaves me more money to put back into my business.  

Being prepared leaves you more room for life's uncertainties in business and life.
