Why it's important to plan for the new year now

If you ever been to a music concert, you know the publicity begins before the band gets into town.  Why?  The answer is to whet the appetite.  Even well known bands need to get the word out before the date of performance so their fans can make plans to come see them.  For businesses, it's important to decide on what you are going to promote for next year before the year gets here.  You need to decide on how to properly promote any new products/services and begin to whet the appetite of your customers.

It's typically more costly to do things at the last minute so proper and advanced planning is key for helping your business maximize its results.
