Work to harness your electronic database

To say that I had a lot of e-mails on my account would be like saying Bill Gates has some money.  I spent a few hours pairing down the volume of stored e-mails into a more manageable total.

I don't really need to keep photo's sent to me, updates on birthdays, work long completed.  It took a considerable amount of effort (I hate to get rid of things) but I've begun to reduce the sheer volume of material stored.  

At the moment, I am going through a fairly simple decision tree to keep or delete.  Do I need it or just want it?  With that simple decision, I've surprised even myself with the amount of e-mails no longer on my account.

With just a few weeks left in the year, it's an excellent time to do some cleaning out of your computer and your work area.
