Plan for the unexpected in business

Normally I blog between 4AM and 5AM.  I have the quiet around me and can escape into my own thoughts.  Today I blogged twice on a completely different subject matter since my website controls were not accommodating me.  As a result, today's blog is about planning for the unexpected in business.

No matter how much a person attempts to control in business, you just can't control all the variables.  Sometimes a big client meeting must be postponed because your kid is running a fever and needs to go to the Doctors.  Sometimes, like recently for me, it's a vehicle malfunction which leaves you stranded for hours waiting for a tow truck.  Today for me, it's a website that doesn't seem to want me to post a blog. 

Though I'm attempting to post this, I'm also in touch with my webmaster to fix whatever glitch is hampering my blogging efforts.  Planning a way around the unexpected is just par for the day in business.
