Do what you love and play your strongest hand

Last night I went to a local university to watch my youngest daughter perform with her "garage" band.  I marvelled at how they were able to play song after song without ever looking at a sheet of music.  I self studied for two years on playing the guitar out of a music book but to this day have not been able to memorize even one piece of music.

I loved being able to "make music" but it's not my strongest hand.  Accounting is my strongest hand.

Do what you love and be honest with yourself.  Play your strongest hand on what you want to do in life and you'll be fine.  Of course you need to be realistic on what you'll be doing in life.  There's just not that many jobs for people who are good at jousting or making buggy whips so be realistic.

I continue to learn something new every day in my profession so learning never ends.  To be successful in business, learn as much as you possibly can.
