  • Another customer service lesson

Early in the week, I dropped off a bicycle for some maintenance work and to place an order for a head light. I was told to pick it up Saturday afternoon when they gave me my claim ticket. The bike wasn't ready and had I not called beforehand, I would have wasted both my time and gas. A phone call by the bike shop to me would have been a nice touch but wasn't given. As I was finishing up the conversation I asked if the light had come in. I was told it was to be sent from California and followed up with a timeline of when it could be expected to arrive. The reply given was somewhat gruff to say the least. Good customer service can keep a client and bring referrals. Why is their business slow? Well customer service may be part of the answer. I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
