One in particular reorganized the office and placed a couple of lateral file cabinets in the middle of the office. The change really didn't increase efficiency or productivity but there was physical proof of something different in the office. I think in looking back years later, I agree with his logic. Continue the status quo or shake things up a bit to bring in a fresh view. We just had our parking lot resealed and restriped yesterday. It didn't expand the number of parking spaces but it sure does make the building pop as a result of a new coat applied to the parking lot. Perhaps the work done catches the eye of a prospective new client driving by who is considering a change in Accounting firms. Maybe it jogs the memory of a present client to refer someone who needs our services. Change can be good. I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more.
