Embrace technology or be left behind by it

It's been a few weeks now and I think I'm finally becoming accustomed to our computer network.  For years we had stand alone machines and it was a worry to bring up a client file and wonder whether there might be a more recent version on another computer.  Thanks to networking, all our client files reside on one drive.  Why didn't I do this years sooner?  Well, I thought it would be too costly to create and to maintain.  I was wrong on both counts.

I can access data from any computer in the office.  While this may not sound like a big deal to you, it's huge.  I or one of my associates have the data at our fingertips.  With the printers being linked as well, we can print to a faster printers should we need to or even scan and send data with a few clicks of our fingertips.

They say time is money.  Letting technology save you time can mean being competitive or being left behind by it.
