Be receptive to learn from others in business

There is a member of our Church choir who is a pianist.  He was in California last summer auditioning with some heavy hitters in the hopes of furthering his career.  The people he met with asked him to play original beats and music to gauge his talent level.  In addition to gauging his talent level, those listeners are able to learn a new sound.

It's important to remain receptive to new ideas in business.  I never know where or when I'm going to learn something new from but I want the opportunity to acquire new skills and experiences which may help me to improve and provide better service to clients. 

Just like those heavy hitters listening to new talent, I want the opportunity to do the same.
