  • How much of a sample do you give away in business

I've walked through many malls in my lifetime.  When I've walked through the food courts of many of those same malls, I've had samples offered to me from restaurant' employees in order to entice me to spend my money on their menu board selections.

The same thing is true in service businesses like mine.  Potential clients are trying to decide which professional to patronize.  We give a sample in the form of advice on some small portion of their overall issue.  The trick is to avoid giving away what you should be charging for while at the same time providing a slice of what you are capable of doing for them.  Kind of like the mall food court sample.

I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more.  We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
