Using electronics to your advantage in business

I couldn't imagine when I graduated from College all the changes which technology would have upon my business life.  My first job didn't even use PC's until I was about to leave their employment.  They were still keeping a manual set of books when I first was hired though I must admit working on them really grooved me to understand what goes on in a electronic set of books these days.

I'm currently sitting in front of my home computer blogging and then I'll enjoy the Easter Sunday with my family.  I am only a phone call away should any clients need to get ahold of me as I practically have my Iphone tethered to my side.  That's a far cry from the land line being my means of reaching clients or the beeper I used to have strapped to my belt later.

It's the spill over of electronics and technology into business applications which lets my firm serve customers quicker and more efficiently.  I love living in this time of the century and smile whenever I look at old photographs of businesses equipped only with a phone, manual adding machine and ledger books.  It's just amazing at how far we've come.
