In business, remember what made you successfull

I've worked for relatively small operations to global reaching multi billion dollar ones.  Some provided only one product or service but did it really, really well.  There were other ones who weren't satisfied with their core business and tried their hand at something which did not play to their strengths.  Guess what?  For those businesses, everything suffered.

It's important to remember what made you successful in the first place and continue to support it. 

It's ok to evaluate the product and services you offer.  When possible, expand to complementary products/services.  Just be careful you don't sacrifice your old stuff to promote the new.
