Support small business as often as possible

I love supporting Mom and Pop businesses whenever possible.  I've been in large stores with great customer service but for me it's the Mom and Pop operations which seem to really appreciate my dollars in their establishments.  Statistically it's the Mom and Pop shops which are the engine to America's economy.  

My favorite restaurant is Mom and Pop run.  Last week, I went shopping for some office furniture in a neighborhood Mom and Pop knick knack strip center.  I tried to get my goatee trimmed at a small Barber shop (ok, they had some issues) last weekend.  See what I mean?  It doesn't take much to give the little operator a chance to earn your dollar.  They in turn will most likely spend those dollars back into the local economy and that benefits your city.

I plan on riding my bicycle this morning. I'll be on the lookout for even more small businesses to support.  I hope you'll do the same.
