A farmers approach to operating a business

My family loves watching American Idol.  They just don't miss the show.  As a small business owner, I must juggle work and rest.  I know if I stay up to late, I will be dragging the next day.

My associate had been pressing upon me the need to get proper rest for a good long while.  I resisted just as long until recently.  I began to sleep early even though I may be missing those entertaining shows.  It turns out I was sleep deprived and needed a long time to refill my bank of rest.

I now take a farmers approach to operating a business.  Farmers rise early and work for all their worth then get an early rest to start again the next day.  There is a lot to be said for that approach.  Better health and better wealth.
