Keep the lines of communication open in business
I had a client in my office for 4 hours yesterday amending some tax returns someone else filed on their behalf. Just as I was ready to start on the third year of amendments a question was asked. The answer could result in my having to staff from scratch. That's why maintaining open lines of communication is important. It helps to guard against misunderstandings and doing things over a second or third time.
