Invest in others or invest in yourself

Recently, Facebook made its initial offering of stock.  Shortly after, the stock price dropped.  Those people who wanted Facebook stock must decide whether it's prudent to hold the stock and hope it increases in price or sell.

I had a few people ask me whether I was going to invest in Facebook.  My response?  I'd rather invest in my own business than another person's. 

A business operator believes in their own business concept with every fiber of their being.  If so, it just makes sense to build yourself up to become the next big success story.
