Fear is a great motivator in business

If you were to ask a group of small business operators what they fear, I'm sure one of those fears would be the loss of their business.

Fear is a good thing in business.  It keeps you motivated to sell, improve your goods/services and planning for success.  Even after all this time of operating my business, I have a healthy fear of failure.  It is one of the things which keeps me working and planning to improve our operations.

There must be at least one motivator that causes you to work your own operation.  Fear can be a very good one.
