Life holds no guarantees so live it wellHave you ever bought a burger, fries and a drink and ate it while working at your desk? I spend a large portion of my time on a computer and have eaten my meal while still typing away countless times without making eye contact with my food. You reach into the bag for a french fry, then another, then another and suddenly your fingers reach the bottom of the fry package. What??? I didn't know my previous handful was the last portion of fries. If I did, I would have savored it more.
Life is kind of like that fry experience. You keep thinking there is more there to grab but sometimes you reach the end and have regrets because you thought you had more time left to get it all. I just read on CNN that Former NBA basketball star Manute Bol just passed at 47 years of age. I'll bet he thought he'd be living far longer than 47 and I must admit I want more time on this earth than he had to live (rest in peace Mr. Bol).
I chat with lots of people over the course of a week. Many will chat with me about their desire to do this or that and a few will share their desire to have a business of their own one day.
Life holds no guarantees so live it well. I am so happy to have taken my opportunity for business ownership and with that experience, I've removed the blinders off myself to try more things that I otherwise would "get around to one day." Whatever it is you want to do, do it now.
