There was a story yesterday on CNN about China's economy.  The story covered that in the short term future, China was going to overtake the U.S. for the world's largest economy.
Before you lament the change, think about the opportunities in the marketplace.
It seems to me, people wait for some other guy to do something about it.  Well, the knight on the white horse to save the day is you and me.  If you've had an idea of a product that's been rolling around your brain then at least give it a little push to turn your dream into reality.
Can we compete?  Absolutely.  Do you want an example?  Detroit carmakers just topped JD Powers top quality rating over asian rivals.  I'll bet you thought that would never happen but it did and for the first time in ratings performed by JD Powers.  Want another?  American retailer Wal-Mart is the world's largest public corporation by revenue. Wal-Mart became that in the lifetime of one man.
Did you know China has fairly recently asked the U.S. to get its financial situation under control.  Did you also know that China is our largest creditor?  Why would China take their money and invest in the U.S.?  It's because they recognize value when they see it.
Like Mickey said to Rocky in one of those Rocky movies, get up you son of a _ _ _ _ _, 'cause Mickey loves ya'.  Let's all get in there and create the next golden age of our economy.
What's in it for you?  The sky is the limit.
