If you are a reader to my blogs then you know I am pretty good at posting on a daily basis.  Today's blog title deals with my circumstances for not blogging on Saturday.

My reason for not blogging yesterday is because I like to ride a bicycle.  Well, let me put it another way.  I love to ride a bicycle.  I started because my Doctor wanted to put me on pills a few years ago.  It seems that inactivity and long work hours don't work very well on the body.

I tried to come up with a way to get exercise in and yet still make it fun instead of drudgery.  My solution was a bicycle.  As a young boy, I rode my older sister's bicycle.  It wasn't the coolest of bikes but it was borrowed and beat walking so I used it. Once the Doctor was finished, I promised I would turn a new leaf.  I believe I did turn a new leaf because I cycle quite a bit. For example, I rode around 3 hours on Friday with somewhere around 100 other cyclists.  That ride ended for me at midnight.  I slept a couple of hours and started again at 5:30AM.  My Saturday ride didn't finish until about 2PM. I did another ride Sunday morning along our city's Mission Trail.

So, I again I apologize for not blogging yesterday but it was to maintain my health.

If you are looking for a way to improve your health, consider bicycle riding.  It's fun and you may even save money spent on fuel by pedaling you way in your neighborhood.
