What does free initial visit mean?If you called an a/c contractor, an evaluation of your system to determine what is wrong with your a/c unit could result in a bill. Drive your car to the mechanic and they may make a quick evaluation of what's wrong with your vehicle and provide an estimate to fix the problem(s) they identify. The mechanic may or may not charge for providing the evaluation. It depends.
Our firm will make sure to let you know when the fees are about to begin (even during an initial visit). Think about it though. You wouldn't ask a medical physician to medically diagnose you and then not expect to receive a bill. That is one of the ways they generate their income. Consultation is also an area where we generate revenues.
So, what may you expect when you schedule a visit with an accounting professional? Well, the free initial visit is for us to assess what the issue(s) are and to provide an estimate to help you resolve them. You receive an opportunity to tell us a bit about your business or personal situation without having to worry that you are paying for our time to gain an understanding of what's going on for you.
Just like there would be a fee for the a/c contractor to grab his/her tools to remedy the problem or the mechanic to start turning a wrench under the hood, fees for our firm begins when we start to solve the problem.
A free initial visit is intended for you to have the opportunity to evaluate if our firm is a good fit to meet your business needs, if you feel comfortable working with us and if the price fits within your budget. Generally, people want to know that the firm they choose is capable enough to fix the problem.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
