How to save on fuel and get more fitHave you benchmarked where you travel in your car over the course of a week? Aside from trips to and from work, there's only the trips I make to a neighborhood restaurant for lunch (when I forget to pack one) which I encounter.
I was reading about how people in Europe ride bicycles much more for getting around the city. For that reason and many others, I've decided to keep a bicycle at my office.
You gain so much more by riding short trips via bicycle. For one, it helps you to become more active (saving you medical costs), secondly, you save on both fuel and wear and tear on your vehicle and third, you are doing your small part to reduce pollution.
Is there a way for you to either walk more on your errands or perhaps ride a bike?
Give it a try. After all, most of us rode bicycles when we were kids. Why stop as adults?
