Why Location is so important to the success of a businessYesterday, I had a number of errands to run. I needed to make my Nephew's birthday party, pick up some bicycle tubes, and drop off a bike at a repair shop to make good on a long overdue promise to a friend.
There's a new bike shop in San Antonio. It's called S.A. Cycles. I don't know why but at first blush, I didn't think it would make it. Not because the workers couldn't perform but I wasn't sure the location was right.
Most of the bike shops in town are located either in Downtown San Antonio or north of the same area. This new shop is on South Flores across the street from Brackenridge High School.
I was wrong in my first assessment.
Location is so important and our city's newest bike shop chose it's new home wisely. It is situated on a street frequented by the city's riders (Mission Trail Route). It's located next door to an ice cream shop (we cyclists love our sweets). The building which houses the store is so cool to look at and to build such a building today would be far beyond the budgets of most small Mom and Pop business owners. Four months being open right now, I can imagine S.A. Cycles being around for a very, very long time.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
