How to improve customer service
Quick, remember the last memorable meal which you had at a restaurant. Since I don't eat out that often, for me it takes a while. What was it about the experience that made it memorable? Was the food that much better than what you've had at home or were there other factors like atmosphere and customer service.
Some years ago, my wife and I went to a romantic restaurant. The prices would be considered steep locally and to be honest the food wasn't all that remarkable. The thing which made it memorable was the pampering by the staff and the staging of our table.
You'd be surprised at how customer service can elevate the experience for patrons. The same goes true for downgrading the experience. Though the food can be tasted, people who make you feel special will make you want to come back for more. The same goes true for your experience with professional services or just buying groceries at the market.
