Games prepare you for life and businessTo succeed in business, you need to have a little gamble in you. What do I mean? Well, as a boy, I used to play chess. A lot of chess. Eventually, I played in area tournaments then around the state. I hit a point where I played "not to lose". That means I waited for a mistake from my opponent. Once you've played awhile, you find this approach is the wrong way to play. Why? Because you are basically playing for a draw. Playing not to lose.
In Chess like in both life and business, you need to play to win. Taking chances on your business helps you take your enterprise to the next higher level(s). Play too conservatively and you break even. That's not a good thing since you need to make enough to live off of.
