How to short circuit your marketing effortsI consider myself pretty adept at marketing. Still, I have a lot to learn. Case in point. I haven't marketed my business to the neighborhood around me. Why? I "figured" that the well established neighborhood around me already has their own tax professional(s).
Yesterday, I had a walk in from the neighborhood. It was only at this point when the bell finally rang and I realized my foolish logic. Humble home or grand, you will greatly increase your chances of acquiring new customers if you market actively to them.
You'd think that after all these years of owning my own business that I would know better by now. It just goes to show that even a business established a long time can make basic marketing errors. I'm just glad I remain open to learning.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
