I had a number of errands to run yesterday.  One of them involved driving to the local IRS office in San Antonio.  The office has quite a bit to offer taxpayers.  For one thing, there is a wall of forms and publications free to taxpayers.

If you need to speak to a representative, be prepared to spend at least a quarter hour or more in line BEFORE you take a seat to wait for your number to be called.  Once you're seated, it can take a couple of hours before you are actually seen by an agent.

Keep in mind that many of the things which are offered at the local IRS office are available simply by calling the toll free number.  What's that number?  It's 1-800-829-1049.

I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more.  We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
