Monuments to past achievementsYou may be able to work for decades at one place of employment. That type of longevity is worthy of respect. I think everyone at some point in their lives wants to leave a permanent mark of what they accomplished.
While finishing up a bicycle ride through downtown on Sunday, I noticed a business name on a building which appears to have been shut down for quite awhile. Even after all these years, their mark is still evident.
That's one of the wonderful legacies of self employment. You can paint your name, etch it or whatever on the building you occupy.
Long after you are gone, there's still a chance your mark will be there for others to see.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
