Time is moneyIf you work in a service business, you've probably realized already that time equals money. What I mean is you need time so you may be able to perform your service in exchange for compensation. If you have no employees then you know you have only so many hours in the day to produce work for customers.
Years ago, I made the decision to add associates to my office. It was a really scary thing for me because I wondered would I be able to cover the overhead of paying someone regardless of what happened with revenues. Well, being able to leverage the hours of others provided my business a way of expanding. In addition, should I become ill, having associates working with you provides a way for you to continue generating sales while you may be at home getting better.
Life holds no guarantees but taking a chance to increase the sales of your business when possible may give you a way of having more personal time for yourself in the long run.
