Supply and demand does workJust when you think a market has been thoroughly tapped, another company comes in to fill the need. A case in point was a story on How I made my millions where a Mom had been adding juice from fruits into water to get her kids to drink. Other young children would come over for play dates and drink what she created which created calls from the parents on where the juice lady purchased her concoction. One thing led to another and a new business was born.
On a more personal note, people clearing out their garages have begun to list more and more of their bicycles for sale on craigslist. Those with a passion for bicycles (like me) have been able to acquire some great deals on bicycles ridden a couple of times, stored and later sold for far less than new. Both the seller and the buyer win in this format (though my wife would probably complain about the loss of space due to my bike obsession).
Supply and demand still works. Just fill the need and you're on your way to success.
