A poor location can be a death knell to a new businessDid you every wonder why those corners on a busy intersection sell for so much money? It's the location.
When possible, choose a location which has the greatest traffic and the easiest to place to get to for your business. A poor location choice means more money will have to be spent on advertising to drive customers to your door. Wouldn't it be better just to have more drivers pass by your business each day?
How about a marquee? When we moved to our location, we had to pay not once but twice for our signage to be properly installed. Do I regret it? Well, perhaps in the sense of overpaying but not in the return of new walk in business. As a matter of fact, we've had more walk in's to our new location than in all of the seven years at our old place.
Yep, location is really, really important and can be a death knell if you don't do it right.
