Happy Thanksgiving and random thoughts

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.  I resembled that remark for many, many years.  

When I started my business, I completely devoted myself to it.  I would work on Christmas, Thanksgiving and all the other major holidays we celebrate in this country.  It may have only been for half a day but the point I'm making is it was work every day.

A few years ago, someone asked me what I liked to do for fun.  At the time, I couldn't come up with one thing that didn't involve work and that was sad.  I started to seek out something to enjoy and bicycling was my choice.  It's now been four years that I took up cycling as my hobby.

Today, I'm celebrating Thanksgiving in my country with my family.  There will be no trip to the office for me.  I woke up early to prepare the Turkey and put it into the oven around 3AM to do its thing.  By noon, my family will be sitting together and having a meal as one.  By 3PM, I will be at my sisters home eating again with 23 other family members.

As hard as you work to make your business a success, remember to share time with your family and play whenever you can.
