For business success, a good location is just one factor
We've been in our new location for approaching a year and a half. I consider it a great location but location alone is not enough. Had we opened a brand new business here, we would have closed by now. The walk up business is nice but not enough to carry us on its own.
There has to be a multiple of ways for you to generate sales. Location for walk in, networking, advertising (in its different forms) and more. Each stoke the fire a bit to generate sales and together they work to build up and sustain a business.
Those who become complacent run the risk of being passed. Great names of companies who had been in operation for decades (some over the century mark) and are closed should serve as a warning to tell you it's a process which needs to be constantly stoked.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
