It's quite unusual for me to cover the same topic in so short a timeline but I had the opportunity to watch the biography of Sam Walton last night.  He didn't lead a charmed life as he faced adversity just as we all do.  He didn't come from money but he certainly accumulated it.

Those who build great fortunes typically do so by taking great risks and Mr. Walton was no different.  He was at one time (as the story goes) in a great deal of debt due to his growth and his solution was to expand even more.  That's a major difference in how entrepreneurs think.  He bet the farm (so to speak).  Not just once but a few times.

Usually there is a point in their stories I read where I am left with doubts.  Could I bet everything over and over for great fortune.  I don't know for sure but I do know I learn so much about business in general by understanding what it takes to amass great wealth.

I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more.  We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
