What to do before launching your new business
Perhaps you've been thinking about your own business for years. It peeks into your thoughts throughout your work day as you work for somebody else. It creeps into your thoughts at some point every weekend. That's fine and good but you've to research about the industry you'll be launching your business in.
Bookstores, mentors, research are all important. Each will help you to blue print your dream and increase the odds of success.
I remember one business launch years ago (not my client). I received an invitation as a chamber of commerce member. It was a flashy party and power players were there. A number of years later, that particular business shut its doors. Why? Well, luck has something to do with it but researching how you plan to grow the business goes incredibly far. Did they need the expensive party? No. In that time, I've seen other businesses become successful without the glitz or the unnecessary spending. The difference is those businesses did their homework and put their money to things which created the biggest return on investment.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serving your business needs.
