In the past, I've tried my hand at making do with tools and equipment at my office on tasks.  Yes, the jobs were completed but they could have been done faster and with less effort had I used better tools and equipment from the outset.  Trust me, I know about limited funds.   It's important to upgrade as soon as possible.
